Marion was found dead in the woods. He died young. Julie Saltz (sister-n-law) found his civil service registration card in his mother's trunk, which stated that his right arm was crippled. Julie also found his death certificate at the Henderson County Historical Society Libray, which states that he died from "Convulsions due to epilepsy" 2-19-1950 and was found three hours after leaving home.
